Florida can be your perfect vacation spot for so many reasons. Whether you are young, or young at heart, Florida is the place for you! The sun shines brightly, the crystal water begs you to jump in, and there are so many things to see and do. Florida has so much to offer. There are zoos, amusement parks, family entertainment, theme parks, and so much more. Whether it is a historical site, an aquarium, or a beach, such as South Beach in Miami, Florida is the place that that can beat the rest. And of course, we cannot forget the infamous Disney World, where everyone is a kid again.
The white beaches attract everyone. Children love to play in the sand and build sand castles. Teenagers will love to surf and play games on the beach, and adults can take in the sun and sites. The beach is also a great place to get that exercise that you have wanted to get, take a nice walk or jog by the ocean, or swim up and down the coast. The water sports at the beach are fun too, try some snorkeling, take a boat ride, or fish for free.
There are many educational opportunities too, such as a Miami science museum or Parrot Jungle Island. Children love to play and learn at places that do not require a classroom. The Everglades are fascinating. The Florida Everglades is a most unusual public park, consisting of over a million acres of swamps, jungles, and prairies. Over one million people per year visit the Everglades. There is a vast diversity of plants and animals within the interlocking ecosystems. The ecology is quite unique in the United States. It is a wonderful attraction to take the family to see.
Perhaps one for the best things about Florida is the price. The price of trips can vary greatly. You can go on a quite elegant trip, or you can take a fabulous vacation for relatively cheap. When visiting Florida, stick to the surf and sand, visit one amusement park, and hit the museums and historic sites for a relatively low admission. Florida has fine dining for those that want to break the typical budget, but there are also relatively lower costs restaurants. Plus, you can always buy a meal ticket if visiting a larger amusement park, such asDisney World. Picnicking is fun too, whether at the beach or in a park at a local attraction.
Florida is great place to vacation, whether you are a young couple in love, a single person looking for a good time, or a family wanting to make memories. When in vacationing in Florida, be sure to take your camera and camcorder, because you will make memories that will last forever. Whether it is your first trip to Florida or your fifth, there is always something new to do in Florida. Whether it is hitting the parks in Orlando, having a blast in Miami, or swimming with the dolphins, treat yourself to an affordable vacation in Florida. The sun loves to shine and the waves are always rolling in Florida.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and half years. Unfortunately, for a year of it, we have been separated due to me going to school. We see each other on the weekends, but I work, so even then it isn't very much. I'm moving home after this semester, and we were thinking of taking a little mini vacation somewhere in Florida, or even in GA. Excluding any theme park type things, can anyone give us any suggestions on what to do for a weekend? Something relatively inexpensive. (Few hundred dollars or less.) We were thinking of doing the NASCAR race in Daytona, but hotels are so expensive and hard to book over the 4th of July weekend. Any ideas?
